for the following Scouts:

bulletEvan Whitcomb
bulletJason Gonder
bulletKyle Hagan
bulletLucas Huck
bulletMichael Howard

Date:    Sunday September 5th, 2010

Time:    3:00 PM

Please come help these young men celebrate this historic milestone in their lives. Only about 2 percent of those boys that join Scouting reach the rank of Eagle Scout.

All five are also members of Order of the Arrow, Boy Scouts of America's Honor Society. The purpose of the Order of the Arrow is to:

bulletRecognize those who best exemplify the Scout Oath and Law in their daily lives and through that recognition cause others to conduct themselves in a way that warrants similar recognition.
bulletPromote camping, responsible outdoor adventure, and environmental stewardship as essential components of every Scouts experience, in the unit, year-round, and in summer camp.
bulletDevelop leaders with the willingness, character, spirit and ability to advance the activities of their units, our Brotherhood, Scouting, and ultimately our nation.
bulletCrystallize the Scout habit of helpfulness into a life purpose of leadership in cheerful service to others.

There will be a reception following the Court of Honor.
