Old Spanish Treasure Cave

 

 

There is a limit of 35 people and the cost is $15.00 per person ($5.00 deposit plus $10.00 on arrival).  The cavern is a comfortable 58 degrees year round

 

 

Camp in the Cave Information

Equipment Needed: Each person will need a change of clothing, shoes, gloves, long sleeve shirt and long pants and a hard hat if they are going on the wild cave tour. Also a sleeping bag, sleeping pad or air mattress, a flashlight with good batteries (extra batteries for the flashlight) and a canteen of water is also handy.  NO COTS!

Facilities Available: They have a gift shop, and gem-stone panning that will be available during the registration, limited outside picnic tables, but no fire areas or shelters.

Cavern: The camping area inside the cavern is of limited size, so please do not bring any more equipment then you need or can carry. Coolers and large containers are not suitable for the cavern and are not allowed.

 

Schedule:

Check in and registration 6:30 - 7:00 pm
Orientation and demonstration 7:05 - 7:30 pm
Cave tour 7:35 - 8:35 pm
Set up Camp 8:40 - 9:10 pm
Off Trail journey 9:15 - 10:00 pm
Clean-up and snack break (if you have them). 10:05 - 10:30 pm
Lights out

 
Lights on 7:00 am
Rest room, clean-up camp area 7:15 am
Breakfast

(juice and milk provided)

 8:00 am
